‘Restart a Heart’ Day

Restart a Heart Day is observed annually on October 16th and this year our year 6’s were thrilled to be a part of the day receiving training from pandemics and lecturers at the University of Worcester. As part of some pre-teaching into our upcoming science topic about the heart, the children learnt about the heart and where health issues can arise, were trained in delivering CPR and learnt more about defibrillators and their of use electricity when a person has a sudden cardiac arrest. At Perdiswell Tudor Grange Academy we are proud to be supporting this year’s ‘Restart a Heart Day’ initiative. Remember…Two hands can save a life! A big thank you to Dave and Aaron at the University of Worcester for helping us get involved and delivering some fantastic training!
