A Day in Ancient Egypt: Adventures with The History Man!

We recently transformed our school into the enchanting world of Ancient Egypt, and what a fantastic day it was! 🏺✨ Dressed in magnificent costumes that brought the era to life, our pupils immersed themselves in a journey through time, all guided by our amazing guest, The History Man.

The day kicked off with an exploration of Egyptian art. The children dove into the fascinating world of hieroglyphics, crafting their very own cartouches – beautiful symbols that each represented their names! 🖌️🎨

They didn’t stop there! Our budding Egyptologists created unique soul houses and scarab beetle amulets, both essential items for a joyous afterlife in ancient Egyptian belief. These delightful keepsakes now sit proudly at home as a reminder of their educational adventure! 🐞🏠

The History Man brought incredible knowledge about the River Nile, revealing how the ancient Egyptians lived, the wonder of mummification, and what they did in their leisure time. The pupils were particularly enchanted by the games and toys from ancient times, and they enjoyed getting hands-on experience with them. ⚱️🎲

It was a day filled with laughter, learning, and lasting memories; one that our students will cherish for years to come. Special thanks to The History Man for bringing such vibrancy and engagement to our curriculum!
